Matt Garrity

A multi-faceted, versatile musician, Matt began singing in his church choir at an early age and went on to sing and play trombone in multiple ensembles throughout high school and college. He was both a featured vocalist for the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band and a four year member of the UMass Chamber Choir while pursing his undergraduate degree in Music Education. He also sang and recorded an album with the UMass Doo Wop Shop acapella group and has performed in multiple staged musical productions. He is currently a part time music teacher, vocal instructor, and performer while also pursuing his graduate degree. As a music educator, Matt hopes to instill his passion for music in his students.
